William Pickrin<\/strong> was born in Hackness, Yorkshire, England around 1575.<\/p>\n

His baptism has not been found but he was not baptised in 1578 to Henrici Pickrin – that William was buried in September 1578<\/em>.<\/p>\n

William married Alice Redshaw on 10 January 1695 at the parish church of St Peters, Hackness, Yorkshire.<\/p>\n

The marriage register, written in latin states – Willm. Pickrin ett Alice Redshawe nupti sunt 10 Jan 1595.<\/em><\/p>\n

William and Alice Pickrin (Pickering) had nine children all baptised in Hackness, Yorkshire –<\/p>\n

  8. Johes (John) b 1613<\/li>\n
  9. Phillip b 1617<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    William Pickrin was mentioned in a booklet titled “A history of Ebberston” as farming at Ebberston in 1613.<\/p>\n

    Possibly the son of Sir Christopher Pickering, eldest son of James Pickering who was married to Elizabeth Threckeld. It was Christopher Pickering who inherited Threkeld?<\/p>\n
