London, England: Burke&#8217;s Peerage Ltd, 1965-1972).<\/em><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_8676\" style=\"width: 274px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8676\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8676\" src=\"http:\/\/www.michelledennis.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/St-Brevitas-Lanlivery-Cornwall.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"264\" height=\"191\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-8676\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">St Brevitas Lanlivery Cornwall<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Walter was married around 1597 (perhaps earlier) in Lanlivery, Cornwall to Catherine Hellyar, the daughter of John Hellyar alias Mayow and Katherine Trevillian.<\/p>\n<p>They had one known child <a href=\"http:\/\/www.michelledennis.com.au\/?page_id=8922\">Nicholas Kendall<\/a> in 1598 in Lanlivery. <em>British Landed Gentry 1965 volume 1, page 503.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Walter was named as the eldest son and heir of his father Walter in his will in 1593.<\/p>\n<p>The Cornwall Online Parish Clerk website also has a page about the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.opc-cornwall.org\/Records\/parishes\/L-P\/lanlivery_kendall2.php\">Kendall Family of Pelyn, Lanlivery here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Kendall family of Pelyn are mentioned in the Historical Survey of the County of Cornwall Vol 2 Part 1 starting on page 176 available here on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/books.google.com.au\/books?id=NvlRAQAAMAAJ&amp;pg=PA178&amp;lpg=PA178&amp;dq=%22charles+kendall%22+elizabeth+herle&amp;source=bl&amp;ots=wv0WQo0ieN&amp;sig=ACfU3U1UNuIg7ROKNOnirpJFXcR6g5sjvw&amp;hl=en&amp;sa=X&amp;ved=2ahUKEwi449WAhoj2AhXywzgGHUayDo4Q6AF6BAgCEAM#v=onepage&amp;q=%22charles%20kendall%22%20elizabeth%20herle&amp;f=false\">Googlebooks<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Walter died in July 1644 in Lanlivery and was buried there on 15 July 1644.
