Nicholas Kendall<\/strong> was born in Penlyn, Cornwall around 1511 to parents Walter Kendall 1475-1547 and Jane Rous 1480-1547.<\/a><\/p>\n

Nicholas married Loveday Killiowe \/ Kellow around 1541. Loveday was the daughter of John Kellow of Lansells.<\/p>\n

The National Archives in London holds an Indenture of grant by Nicholas Kendall, esquire, to Laurence his brother, for life, of all his messuages, etc. in Tregantell and Tregenowen, and two closes in Pygesbyn.<\/p>\n

In 1568 on 7 April, he also appeared in a property document held at the National Archives – Bond in \u00a3200 Performance of covenants (1) Sampson Byle of Stoke Climsland esq. (2) Nich. Kendall of Pelyn, Lanlivery, gent.<\/p>\n

They had eleven children (British Landed Gentry BLG1965 volume 1, page 503)<\/em><\/p>\n

    St Brevitas Lanlivery Cornwall<\/p><\/div>\n

    Nicholas died in 1573 at Pelyn (sometimes called Pelynt in old documents). Visitation of Cornwall 1620. <\/em>He was buried at Lanlivery in 1573.<\/p>\n

    His will<\/a> was written on 12 September 1580 in Pelyn in the parish of Lanlivery, Cornwall. Beneficiaries were his wife Loveday (Lowdye) Kendall, daughters\u00a0 Margery, Phillipa and Elizabeth, sons Richard and Walter, servantrs Thomas Pitte and Jone Frith. The will was proved 8 June 1851.<\/p>\n

    Loveday Kendall, nee Killiowe died in 1590 and was buried at Lanlivery.<\/p>\n
