James Maddison and Ann

James Maddison was born around 1736, according to his age at death, likely near North Shields, Northumberland, England.

James was a mariner of North Shields, and around 1765 (no marriage record yet found), he married Ann.

James and Anne had the following children all born in North Shields and baptised at Christchurch, Tynemouth, Northumberland.

James died in North Shields, aged 73, and was buried at Christchurch, Tynemouth on 10 October 1809.

Ann Maddison, wife of James, died two years later in 1811 at North Shields, and was also  buried at Christchurch, Tynemouth on 7 July 1811 and stated to be a widow of North Shields.
